Lead and I will follow
"Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading." - Oswald Chambers
I don’t know where I am being led, but I know the One who leads me loves me. This is what I am believing in my walk with Jesus. Remembering how far He has taken me and how He has gotten me here is something I am grateful for every waking day.
The peace it gives me is incomparable to how I used to feel when I followed my plans and my understanding of how and where I thought God was leading me.
When we obey, He promises He will be with us along the way. Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV). This includes trusting Him even when He only reveals what we Need to know one day at a time. Matthew 6:34 (ESV). He promises that if we obey His call, we will receive blessings far beyond what we left behind. Mark 10:29-30 (ESV). He will show the path we will need to follow to move forward, all we need to do is to trust Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV). Trust and obey, take a step in faith because God will guide us through everything we could not do on our own. Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)
These are the promises I am holding on to today and every day. Especially in this waiting season. Let me close with a prayer, Father, I love you today, thank you that You promise to lead me every way. Thank you that You have laid the path You have set out for me to walk on. Thank you that my obedience will reap blessings far greater than I can imagine. Thank you that I can step out in faith and You will lead me to be what You have created me to be. In Jesus name. Amen.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your next visit. Keep smiling! ☺
